Intricate Web Designs provides service for domain registration, and website hosting. Clients may elect to register their domains themselves, or let us help you with the process. It is important to incorporate key terms into the domain name when possible. As for hosting, we use very secure and dependable Linux servers, at a very inexpensive rate in 2 year blocks. Our hosting service comes with unlimited email accounts, and we are happy to assist you in setting up your email accounts on your computers.

Return on investment? It still amazes me how business owners still underestimate the power of the internet with a good website. Every time a client builds a website because people keep asking them for a web address, or because they feel it is standard protocol, they are always surprised with the amount of new customers they get from the internet. I have one client that had a 300% better return on investment from his website, than all of his yellow page ads combined.

Time Line

How long will it take to build my website? The number one time consuming aspect of building a website is collecting content. You are responsible for gathering all the content we will use in the website building process. This includes logo images, catalog files, sales literature, video files, forms, images, policy information, product images/information, testimonials, and other documentation. Of course I can make stuff up instead, but that's probably not a good idea:)

Once we have a game plan drawn up, and we have all the content that needs to go on the website, the process moves along fairly quickly. For a small business, the average time it takes from registering a domain, to having a complete website live on the internet, is around 4-6 weeks.
